How many displays can be supported on late 2008 aluminum MacBook?

I currently use a monitor that attaches to my laptop so I can have an extended desktop, but I wanted to get another monitor so I can have three screens. Before I buy the second monitor, I wanted to know if my laptop can support three total screens. I'm currently using OSX 10.9.5 on my late 2008 aluminum MacBook.
